No conocía a nadie.

I send you a friendly picture for a change.
My dream last night was quite complicated...I visited Halas and Batchelor in Kean Street and everything was exactly as it was in 1972, when I first went to work there, but in the dream the place was abandoned, not derelict, just abandoned...Papers, drawings and desks upside down all over the place...In a large room I found people being told that the studio was closing down. I only recognised one person whom I knew vaguely. He was the man that was making the announcement. When he finished the speech I stopped him..." "Tom?" I said, he turned to me but wasn't sure who I was (I look much older than when he knew me) I told him I was Oscar...I said this with my very strong Spanish accent which the man obviously disliked...He pretended to remember me, said hallo and went away.
I told my companion, a woman, that I read somewhere that they were showing a documentary about "The Arabs" made by an American film maker. We went to another room in the back and there was a crowd standing in a very unconfortable place watching a film in very old and dirty tv sets placed all around...The film was like a home movie where a young and stupid American boy laughed a lot and drew Arabs very badly in a sketch book...We thought that this film was a waste of time and left.

It is not a reflection on their very beautiful work but I think that this dream has something to do with the documentary about Pixar and the making of "The Incredibles" that I had watched the night before. I love "The Incredibles" and I thought their documentary was sensational.
